Cloud Delivery Models

Software as a service (Saas)

It is a business model in which a large company take somespace in their storage infrastructure to a smaller company. In SaaS vendors targets the secondary storage applications by promoting SaaS in a possible way to manage backups. The key advantage to SaaS in the enterprise is in cost savings --in personnel, in hardware and in physical storage space.

Network as a service (Naas)

Its packages networking resources, services, and applications as a which is purchased for a number of users, usually for a long period of time. It includes services like Wide Area Networking (WAN) connectivity, data center connectivity, bandwidth on demand (Bandwidth On Demand), security services, and other applications.

Platform as a service (Paas)

It is a complete development and deployment environment in the cloud. In this resources that enable a user to deliver everything from simple application to high-profile cloud-enabled enterprise applications. User can purchase the resources he/she need from a cloud service provider on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Infrastructure as a service (Iaas)

IIt is a form of cloud computing which provide fundamental compute, network, and storage resources to consumers on-demand, over the internet, and on a pay-as-you-go basis. It decrease the need for high, up-front capital expenditures or unnecessary “owned” infrastructure.

Storage as a service

It offers storage service to your application. Any user can able to buy from 5GB to terabytes of storage on the cloud. It will also provide other services for storage.
